O Estaleiro - Estação Científica de Ílhavo é um espaço municipal totalmente dedicado à ciência e à tecnologia, não esquecendo o contato com a cultura, património e identidade local, associando a longa tradição marítima da pesca de Bacalhau, o Pão de Vale de Ílhavo e a cerâmica da Vista Alegre às STEAM, competências nas áreas das Ciências, Tecnologia, Engenharia, Artes e Matemática. Quatro espaços com dinâmicas diferenciadas (Casa das Máquinas, Casa do Leme, Messe e Ponte) proporcionam experiências maker, de robótica, de gastronomia de bordo, de cozinha molecular ou, mesmo, de produção de bioplásticos e biodiesel.
