El batán es un edificio de más de 400 años. Está en el pueblo de Villava, junto al río Arga. El batán está muy cerca del Camino de Santiago. Hoy forma parte del Parque Fluvial de la Comarca de Pamplona. El batán ha tenido varios usos.
